ARTRA LAB NONIKKOR 11mm F1.8 it’s a great ultra-wide manual lens for the Fujifilm system.
If you have a small Fujifilm camera like the X-M5/X-T50/X-E5 and even X-T5 I think it’s a perfect match.

Artra Lab NoNikkor 11m f1.8 it’s very compact and the good news is that it resolves the 40-megapixel sensor and has straight lines!
This means you can capture everything in a scene because it’s an ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/1.8 aperture – offering the field of view equivalent of a 16.5mm full-frame lens.

First Impressions
This lens is fully metal-built and has an 11mm focal length, which means you’ll have a 16.5mm field of view full frame equivalent, on your Fujifilm camera.

This lens is great for landscape photography, indoor photography, street photography, architectural shots, and all kind of unique ultra-wide angles.
It also has an f/1.8 aperture, which means you can shoot even in low-light environments.

The lens is made by Artra Lab and draws inspiration from the vintage style of Nikon lenses.

Additionally, you can put this lens to Fujifilm X-Mount and Nikon Z-Mount cameras. I hope it will also be available for Sony in the future.
ARTRA LAB NONIKKOR 11mm F1.8 Build Quality
First of all, the build quality is top-notch. You can’t help but love it!
It has an amazing metal feel, and the manual focusing ring is very nice with a rubber texture.

The aperture ring has aperture clicks—it’s not a de-clicked aperture ring—and has nice clicks from f/1.8 to f/22.
There are hard stops, and from f/4 to f/8, there’s no f/5.6, but being an ultra-wide lens, practically everything is in focus from f/8 or f/4.
With the high resolution, you can crop like crazy.

If you look at hyperfocal distances, you can just put this lens on a 40-megapixel sensor, snap, and you’ll have everything in focus.

The lens weighs just 350g and features a built-in lens hood that effectively reduces flare from different angles.

Manual Focusing With ARTRA LAB NONIKKOR 11mm F1.8
Focusing is very important when you’re using a manual focus lens.
The advantage of an ultra-wide manual focus lens is that it’s so easy—ultra easy—to focus.

With the IBIS on the X-T50, you can get steady shots even in low-light environments. You can set the lens at f/4, and because of the focusing scale, everything will be in focus.
This lens is also great for street photography with flash, architectural shots, indoor shots, and more.

Its f/1.8 aperture makes it perfect for night photography, allowing you to shoot in low-light conditions and still get good image quality.
ARTRA LAB NONIKKOR 11mm F1.8 Image Quality
Being an ultra-wide lens, distortion might be a concern, but this lens delivers straight lines—crazy straight lines!

It’s amazing to see how well this small ultra-wide lens renders architectural shots, street photography, and urban scenes.
The lens resolves the 40-megapixel sensor excellently and retains sharpness and micro-contrast at f/8, f/11, and even f/16 without noticeable diffraction.

I’ve taken street photos and urban shots, and the sharpness is incredible.

You can crop in repeatedly and still retain details.
While there’s minor flare and purple fringing, it’s nothing that affects usability.

The micro-contrast and straight lines make it a fantastic option for photographers.
This lens is a great combination with the X-T50 for everyday photography.
Videography
ARTRA LAB NONIKKOR 11mm F1.8 being ultra-wide it’s also great for videography. The video smaples that I’ve got with Fujifilm X-T50 are very stable stright from the camera.

The lens is perfect for architectural shots, street photography, and landscapes.
ARTRA LAB NONIKKOR 11mm F1.8 minimum focusing distance
The minimum focusing distance of 18cm and the f/1.8 aperture allow you to capture unique angles, making it an inspiring tool for travel photography and documenting architecture and landscapes.

ARTRA LAB NONIKKOR 11mm F1.8 Conclusion

It delivers straight lines, amazing image quality, and is incredibly easy to focus due to its ultra-wide nature.
The top-notch build quality, combined with the 40-megapixel sensor, makes it perfect for all kinds of photography—landscapes, street photography, documentary shots, and more.
