The Best Fujifilm Camera You Can Buy: Fujifilm X-T5 Long Term Review

The best Fujifilm camera you can buy right now is Fujifilm X-T5. I’m saying this after using this camera from November 2022 (when it was launched).

And it is not just the best Fujifilm camera money can buy, but also the best camera for a beginner, or for a hybrid shooter when we compare benefits and cost of investment.

The Benefits of Fujifilm X-T5

1. Great build quality – I’m using it for almost two years and I had no problems with it.
2. Very good battery life – 2 batteries are sufficient for normal use.
3. Amazing ergonomics for photography and videography.
4. Is is as small as an X100VI with the pancake lenses: 27mm f2.8 and 18mm f2 or Voigtlander 27mm f2
5. Any Fujifilm lens that you’ll mount will offer great results and great ergonomics
6. It can be an everyday carry with small lenses
7. For the best image quality, you can pair it with the new WR lenses like 18mm f1.4 Fujifilm lens.
8. The autofocus is very fast and reliable even if it’s behind Sony’s AF.
9. The manual focusing is almost perfect – you have lots of manual focusing options: details here.
10. For videography the camera is a killer – it renders amazing footage, very high quality 4k videos, with rich tones and colors.

Fujifilm X-T5 Color Pallete

The best benefit: you will not find colors on any other system like on Fujifilm X-T5 40 MP sensor.

You can edit colors on other systems, but the color science, the color palette in RAW files and also in JPEG files is outstanding. No other system will give you such great film simulations.

Yes, you can use “presets” in Adobe Lightroom or other editing software, but the presets are far behind “film simulations” and “film recipes” that you can get on a Fujifilm camera (especially on Fujifilm X-T5).
